Cloud Sync Task Scheduling and Queue

I am running scale and setting backups using Cloudsync. In the documentation under “Running an unscheduled cloud sync task” it says

“An in-progress cloud sync must finish before another can begin.” - /docs/scale/24.10/scaletutorials/dataprotection/cloudsynctasks/#running-an-unscheduled-cloud-sync-task (I am not allowed to link in my posts)

I read that and it makes me think I could schedule my backups one after the other and they will just queue up.

So I could schedule things at 3:00am; 3:10am; 3:20am… And they will just wait till the previous cloudsync task is finished.

Just looking for a sanity check on my understanding of the docs.

Thanks!

I’m no expert…

It appears to me that different Cloud Sync Tasks run in parallel, while if the scheduling for any of the same Task overlaps an incomplete run, then those tasks queue up one after the other. I have not yet found any limits to running different Cloud Sync Tasks in parallel, like the Replication Tasks Limit.
