Cloud Sync Task Snapshots Not Being Deleted

Was digging through a few things today and realized one of my datasets was using more space than had been written to it, by like a lot.

After realizing this was snapshots, I opened them up and they’re all from a cloud sync task and are recent ones set to NOT be destroyed automatically.

There are about 380 of them, all of which I’d like to delete, but I have no idea why the cloud sync snapshots aren’t being removed after the cloud sync is completing.

Any ideas on what might be the root cause of this? I have many cloud sync tasks and this is the only one that isn’t deleting it’s snapshots after the fact for some reason.

So I manually triggered this backup task and the snapshot worked fine and got deleted.

I have adjusted the schedule slightly and will see if it gets deleted tonight during the backup like it should and maybe that meant I just needed to re-save the job after upgrading from CORE to SCALE.

Well good news, resaving the job seems to have resolved this problem.

I am super confident now that this was a leftover issue from a CORE to SCALE transition.
