Connecting to a SMB share within a WindowsVM on TrueNAS

Hi,
I’m using TrueNAS Scale ElectricEel-24.10.2 and running a File-Server as well as a Virtualization-Server on it.

I now have migrated a Windows-VM from our old ESXI to TrueNAS Scale and wanted to get access to the SMB share hosted by the TrueNAS. But it didn’t work, no matter what I do.

For the NIC I’d choose a Intel e82585 (e1000) adapter type.

Maybe someone had a simmilar issue?

By default vms are isolated from the host on truenas. You have to create a bridge and attach your vm to it.
