Just launched a Pool Scrub to see what will result from it
Does Upgrading the pool to the newest TrueNAS ZFS standard would help to mitigate anything?
The Scrub just finished, and no error message poped up
Good news!
I reactivated all services, one by one (SMB, NFS) and those are working
Things got complicated when I added back the pool to the Apps section : NAS server froze and restarted by itself. Whenever I restarted the NAS from there, it was stucked in a loop
It seems the Apps part of the NAS might be a major source of problem…
I successfully changed the Pool to a temporary Pool, but whenever I set back the problematic one in Apps settings, the server froze back and Boot Loop
Is there anything I can do to reset completely the Apps configs on the problematic Pool?
I might lose some configs, but at least I’ll be able to use it back as normal
Data Scrubbing didn’t showed any error message
While I was waiting for this to finish, a Bug Clerk on IX System’s Jira replied with that:
Thanks for the ticket but this is outside the scope of what we support. Your debug shows some intel kernel messages about power states and it seems there are other messages about amdgpu failing to send messages. This isn’t a wide-spread problem so this is more than likely related to your hardware/software. I’d suggest reaching out to our forums and/or ensuring you don’t have failing hardware and/or power state transitioning occurring.
The power state portion might be related to my UPS battery that needed to be changed ASAP. Did changed it in the meantime, but it’s possible that a power failure occurred before the corruption
Any clues on what can be done next?
