CyberPower UPS CP1500PFCRM2U

I have a CyberPower CP1500PFCRM2U with an RMCARD100 and i cannot get any monitoring to work at all through USB or rmcard all cyberpower usb drivers return unknown ups in shell both home assistant and truenas shell return connection refused
as far as it not working with the rm card that could be because there is no port selection and i have my nas connected to 2 separate networks one being a network where the ups is (and apple TVs connected to homekit) the other where pcs are for smb share has anyone gotten either of these two to work?

I would really prefer a usb connection but i just want truenas to shutdown if ups goes on battery

I don’t know if these two links help but they were Feature Requests and one mentions a CyberPower UPS.

To talk to the UPS via the RMCARD100 you need to configure an SNMP connection. I have trouble with TrueNAS and an RMCARD205, because of a bug in the NUT version included in TrueNAS, but generally - and with a different RMCARD - it should work.

does this bug produce connection refused?

No, the communication works perfectly well but NUT in the particular buggy version fails to fetch the UPS state, i.e. “online”, “on battery”, etc.
