Hey everyone - having spent ages setting up a new TrueNAS server and now a Jellyfin instance in TrueNAS I have noticed it won’t mount and stream an .iso file
Is there some setting in TrueNAS or Jellyfin I can tweek here? What am I doing wrong?
This is kind of a bummer as I have a lot of these files (from a distant past server - that actually could stream them) Do I really have to convert them all to .mkv?
IS this some sort of docker problem? Does proxmox handle this better? Plex (in TrueNAS)? Stream them to a Kodi instance of Jellyfin?

I mean I can get them to mount/play streaming the native file off the Truenas database to an old Oppo203…but that (obviously) removes all the movie art/whole Jellyfin “library” experience…
what would proxmox do different then truenas? proxmox is a hypervisor designed to host vms, lxc or docker directly, truenas does basically the same with a different feature set and ui…
The only media players i know that can play iso files are vlc or kodi.
If your old oppo can run vlc you could try to play them via smb from vlc.
