How can I update emby to 4.9?
Emby server says I need to update, but in Truenas scale it says 4.8 is up to date. So in Truenas→apps I can’t update, but I need to update to get newer plugins in emby.
What TrueNAS version are you running? apps/trains/stable/emby/1.3.44/app.yaml at master · truenas/apps · GitHub says the current version is 4.9.2.6, so if your TrueNAS is telling you 4.8 is up to date, I’m guessing you’re running a version earlier than 24.10. In 24.10 and later, TrueNAS has switched from the kubernetes-backed apps system in earlier releases to docker. The old app catalog is no longer being maintained, so if you want to update Emby you’ll need to update to a newer TrueNAS version.
