Hi, i’m trying to install TrueNAS Scale on a HP system, but i got a lot of errors.
System specs:
HP Z2 Mini G5 Workstation
Latest BIOS (01.04.18 Rev.A)
Intel Xeon
2xECC
Intel UHD
nVidia Quadro
2xNVMe
1xSATA
There is a datasheet online if you search for “hp z2 g5 mini quickspecs” and there is and interactive BIOS if you search for “Interactive BIOS simulator HP Z2 Mini G5 Workstation” (Sorry, i can’t include links)
In Windows (11 24H2) everything is working fine, all the drivers install correctly, all hardware tests finishes without any issues.
The error messages before the installation menu:
ACPI Error: AE_NOT_FOUND, While resolving a named reference package element - PV1D (20230628/dspkginit-438)
ACPI Error: AE_NOT_FOUND, While resolving a named reference package element - PV06 (20230628/dspkginit-438)

systemd[1]: Failed to open /dev/shm device, ignoring: Inappropriate ioctl for device
The error messages that are popping up continuously:
nvme 0000:04:00.0: AER: Error of this Agent is reported first
pcieport 0000:00:1d.7: AER: Error of this Agent is reported first
(same errors on the other popular NAS operating system, when it’s trying to boot Ubuntu)
Tried the followings:
Flash with Rufus/Etcher
USB 2.0 and several 3.0 pendrives
All the USB ports
Turning on/off all the power management options in BIOS
Is there a proper way to get rid of these errors and not just hiding it?
Thank you.
