I’m trying to build a home NAS for our family photos and videos, just basic storage stuff. I built a system with the following hardware:
CPU: Celeron g4930
Mobo: MSI z370 Gaming plus
Ram: 2x4gb generic ddr4 memory (sk hynix chips)
Boot ssd: TeamGroup MP33 nvme ssd 512gb
Storage: 2x4TB WD Red plus drives
The problem I’m having is that when I go to install TrueNAS Scale 24.10, the system gives me a fatal hardware error, with multiple errors mentioning the CPU. Is there some sort of hardware incompatibility or what’s going on? I’m using a usb2.0 drive in a 2.0 port for installation on the motherboard, also tried a 3.0 port.
