I’m building a domestic NAS with two TOSHIBA_HDWG460 discs in mirrors managed by a Zimablade board with TrueNAS SCALE Dragonfish-24.04.2.2 installed.
As much as I agree that being a server must always be turned on, the two uffs on make a lot of noise. The NAS is completely uncovered and the place where it is installed is next to the PC very close to the room where I sleep.
I tried to use the power management of each single hdd by setting the activation of the idle after a certain minute. Nothing worked. Please tell me where I went wrong?
