Can you access your truenas if you disable VPN?
oups, yes apparently it works… cross fingers.
So do you have any idea how should I handle this issue?
Shall I start the VPN after win10 has recognized my NAS?
I confirm that it is when VPN is on that I cannot see my NAS. Can I have both without security issue? if that means anything ![]()
Ok.
I think the problem is solved. I’ve excluded my NAS IP from the VPN through split tunneling.
I hope that is the correct way to solve the issue.
Thank you @swc-phil , @Johnny_Fartpants and @oxyde for your time and help.

You probably should exclude all local addresses your entire LAN subnet.

Do you mean printers also?
Yes. And other PCs. Well, if you want to still have access to your home network
when VPN is on.
Something like 192.168.1.0/24 should do the trick.
