@imkidd57 you are a life saver to say the least.
I did what you suggested and I deleted plex and the plex dataset I had created and just created folders within my HaztisNAS SMB share that was already up and running.
I reinstalled Plex and selected the correct folders and hey presto its working.
The guide you shared was exactly what I needed with a step by step.
