Importing data from BackblazeBackup

Importing data from BackBlazeB2 s3 cloud storage

I was hoping someone had some experience with the following. For the past couple of years I have been using a QNAP NAS and backing up the data to backblaze on an s3 bucket. These are stored just as folders under the bucket. I recently setup a TrueNAS Scale NAS after the QNAP died :smiling_face_with_tear:. I want to move the Backblaze backups to the new NAS, I did the following so far but I am having permission errors with the share:

  1. Used CloudSync to PULL data from, I realized this pulled them as folders not creating new datasets, which I should have expected.

  2. I thought it made sense to make a new folder e.g. for Archive I made a dataset Documents then moved the contents of archive into documents:

       mv /mnt/Main_Pool/Archive/* /mnt/Main_Pool/Archive/
  1. When I make an SMB Share I can see the contents of Archive on the network but cannot access the documents.

Question

What is the best way to import backblaze B2 data to TrueNAS (or S3 data) to be used by the system?

Is there a way to change the access permissions of these directories?

Thanks for your help!

Edit: initially had images of this but can’t add due to first post.
