Hello,
I’m using Proxmox on my home server and using TrueNas on one of the VMs to run apps such as Jellyfin. I recently tested Jellyfin and allocated a portion of one of my drives to form the dataset where the movies and series are stored.
Satisfied with how things are working, I allocated the entire disk to TrueNas (in Proxmox). It correctly shows the 930 or so GB, but my dataset is still stuck at around 150 GB.
My server (proxmox) runs on two 1TB SSDs (RAID 1). I additionally have a 1TB SSD for Movies and Series. TrueNas Scale is installed on a 25GB partition of the RAID 1 drives, and I added the 1TB SSD as a secondary pool to use for the movie storage dataset.
How can I increase the size of the dataset to match the Pool? All the posts and Videos I have found so far seem to have more to do with resizing when swapping drives. It shouldn’t be that crazy complicated since it’s just going to use more of the capacity on the same disk no?
