Installation of Nginx Proxy Manager never completes

When I attempt to install the Nginx Proxy Manager app on TrueNAS SCALE 25.04.2.4, installation “never” completes (i.e. changes from Deploying to Running).

I have seen this thread, but my problem seems likely different because:

  1. I have never (successfully) installed this app before.
  2. I see no activity at all in /var/log/app_lifecycle.log.
  3. The work-around is over two years old at this point, and I would have guessed the complaining and confusion would have motivated the app maintainer to fix that issue by now. Yeah, I know, famous last words.

I just now found the container log and the most recent entry is…

(timestamp) - /opt/certbot/lib/python3.11/site-packages ...

So maybe this step just takes longer than I would expect? Like days? (I gave a prior attempt hours to succeed before giving up.)

Other ideas?

I am pretty sure on prior attempts I waited much longer before giving up.

Here are the log entries (with actual timestamps this time) to give posterity an idea of how long this can take:

If this continues to happen, try this and see if it shortens the startup time to something manageable:
