Hello, I am a super noob trying to improve my old system for transcoding with jellyfin. I have an old PC from 2011with MSI P67a-GD55 motherboard, i7 2600k and GTX 550Tti. I set up truenas and jellyfin and can run videos fine from another PC but on the Roku app when I play a 4k h264 file (MP4) it fails. I bought an Asrock Intel arc a380 challenger gpu to upgrade and hopefully get better transcoding but when I boot I don’t even see the bios splash screen. It shows my 4 drives and like a command prompt screen then goes to just a black screen with a cursor flashing on the top left. Is the GPU just incompatible with my system? The motherboard has no video ports but I waited awhile for truenas to boot up to see if I could access the web UI but I wasn’t available. Put the 550ti back in and it boots up no problem. Any help is appreciated!!
