SMART shows this. Use smartctl -a and look for attribute 193.

I’m not which power condition i should disable and whether disabling them would prevent any sort of automatic vendor maintenance on the drive.

You would use SeaChest or openSeaChest to individually set “saved” values for idle_a, idle_b, idle_c, and standby_z. These “saved” values you would set to disable.
