Migrate Minecraft World | Windows -> TrueNAS App

Has anyone copied a minecraft world over from windows to truenas before? I had a windows machine as a dedicated minecraft server. I got far enough in the ATM 10 modpack I’d prefer to not have to restart, has anyone else copied a minecraft world into Scale’s Minecraft app instance? I followed a video online for a ATM 8 server on dragonfish, but I didn’t get that to work for me and couldn’t see any logs even when the server actually started.

These are the 2 settings/rules I added to try and copy my world over from the SMB share pool.

Any Suggestions are greatly appreciated. The server started fine, but not with the world I had worked on when it was a running on windows.

Good day to you!

I have pretty much the same situation: I have an existing minecraft server (Java standalone server) that I would like to migrate onto my TrueNAS minecraft server. I have the TrueNAS server running, and I can connect to it. But I don’t know how to access it’s file structure so I can migrate all the world files.

Did you figure out a solution?

Thanks!

Unfortunately, I did not. I finished up what I wanted to do in that world and moved on to another mod pack.
I run them on a different machine running Ubuntu Desktop as I recently acquired an old Freenas 4 bay server with a 2 core xeon or Intel atom or some other low power chip this runs my NAS and nothing else runs on it. I may host plex on it in the future but I haven’t had time to even migrate my data into the new hardware. I’m in school and working full time as a Solar Performance Analyst.

Let me know if you figure out how to load the world though, other people may need the answer.
