I’m new to TrueNas Core and I want to host a Minecraft server, after finding several tutorials, I’m lost and I don’t know how to do it…
If you are doing this on CORE, you’ll need to learn how to use jails very quickly including FreeBSD’s pkg system and do it all by hand. If you move to SCALE there are a couple apps right in the default Apps catalog that let you host minecraft servers, including MineOS. If you are just getting started I’d highly recommend going that route.
