[MOVED TO ROADMAP] Improve "Report a Bug" icon

This is the “Report a bug” icon

True, it has a secondary function for reporting how ecstatic you are about a given page, but I don’t imagine that gets a lot of use

I don’t think this is very clear… maybe a :beetle: icon of some sort… would be clearer?

Some possible bug report icons…

Or

I’m partial to this one actually…

Maybe with a bug in it…

FWIW: Both aspects (bug and feedback) get quite a bit of use.

Could we come up with an icon for both Feedback & Report a Bug? :mega: :beetle:
Keeping it as a single button? Change tool tip to the Send Feedback to Feedback or BUG?

I guess its not a big deal but tbh, when I first saw that button I thought it’s something like “like us on social media” or something. It doesnt look much like “report bug”

Would something more neutral like this “Rate Review” material icon work for both purposes?

I think it looks good. At first look it expresses “write us”.

Maybe this one I like little better, looks like what Stux suggested and it’s literally named “feedback”. But I have no strong preference.

  • This request is now closed for voting, and your votes have been released back to use on other requests
