Multi-Report

For everyone experiencing sudo: process 379260 unexpected status 0x57f errors while running cronjobs on SCALE, this may be of help to you.

  1. log in as root into a shell;
  2. cd to your script location;
  3. ls -all *.sh
  4. Your files should look like this:
-rwxrwx--- 1 root root 104786 Jun 24 09:30 drive_selftest.sh
-rwxrwx--- 1 root root 620989 Jun 24 15:34 multi_report.sh
-rwxrwx--- 1 root root  10298 Jun 23 08:41 smr-check.sh

Mine were as follows:

-rwxr-xr-x 1 root root 104786 Jun 11 19:47 drive_selftest.sh
-rwxr-xr-x 1 root root 614674 Jun 11 19:24 multi_report.sh
-rwxr-xr-x 1 root root  10298 Jun 11 19:28 smr-check.sh

Even a chmod +x *.sh did not help, hence I tried a chmod 770 *.sh: this got the permissions right, and the error henceforth disappeared.

Thanks once again to @joeschmuck for bearing with my dullness.
