I installed truenas this morning and jave veen having issues getting plex to work.

I have two pools. One ssd pool for all of my app configs and one hdd pool that will host my media. I set up some datasets for plex. configs, logs and transcode and gave them all apps permissions in the acl.

Then i installed plex and pointed to all my paths maniallu and created the app. All went well the web ui launched and i coild improt my libraries. Everythinf looksd good on the web ui. Once i logged into plex on my client devices i coilsnt see the libraries. I changed my datasets from apps to generic and in the unix permissions gave the user and groups apps full control and restaeted plex. My client devices can now see my libraries but they’re connected through plexs relay rather than directly. What am i doing wrong?

It might be helpful to get images of your plex app settings, etc.

in the plex webui under the networking menu point should be an option to tell plex which subnets it should consider “local”. If you add your lans subnet there your clients should use direct play.
