Hi All, brand new to TrueNas, having just installed it a few hours ago. I’ved tried installing the Plex Media Server from the container folder and it seems to be partially working. I can connect to the plex server from my Windows browser and i’m able to view my media fine, but when i try from another other device such as a firetv stick or my apple tv box then they cannot connect to the server.
I configured my Datasets for plex as Apps, and my media is shared as both smb and nfs and i’ve changed ACL’s to be everyone full control
I’ve told both the server and the client apps to allow insecure connections but i still get the orange triangle warning.
Can anyone point a newbie in the right direction as this has been driving me nuts all day.
