Plex no longer showing my library

When I left on vacation, Plex was working fine. After a few days, Plex stopped displaying my local server and now only shows Plex streaming content.

  • I can still see all of my movies and TV shows on my TrueNAS server (the files are there and accessible).
  • But Plex doesn’t show my TrueNAS box as an available server anymore.

Nothing was changed on my end while I was away. I’m running Plex in Dockge.

Has anyone run into this? Any ideas what could have happened or what I should check first?

Thanks!

As part of the recent Plex breach, did you do as they suggested and reset password and signed out of all devices?

If so, you’ve “lost” your server and need to reclaim it.

To add to what Wite was saying, Plex also advised that older versions could have this happen. So you maybe just need to update to latest available version.

Changing Plex password & going through the whole process of claiming server and logging back into all your devices may be also a good idea since it was a security break after all.

@WiteWulf Thanks, this was the problem. I’m all up and running now.
