As title my shield /kodi cant see my shared folders with samba or nfs
On my shield i can find my olld syno server.
I can go to add viedo locations search on nfs but then only the syno pops up with ip adress but not the truenas server .
How can i get this working?
Any help appreciated
Maybe the Kodi app only supports connecting to SMB1?
If so, you’ll need to enable SMB1 in TrueNAS under the SMB Service page.
No i already enabled smbv1 in services but no dice.
thanks for the answer
For clearity it does show up in win explorer
Install VLC and check if that sees the SMB shares.
I have a SONY Bravia TV with Android TV on it the default media viewer was KODI on it. One day it did not see any of my samba shares.
I spent days troubleshooting.
And failed to fix it
Installing VLC solved it immediately.
