Some (but not all) Snapshots Showing in Windows "previous versions"

Hi,

I have periodic snapshot tasks scheduled along with snapshots being taken before scheduled cloud sync tasks but not all are being offered up for restoration in widows explorer - previous versions. The thing is some are showing up but I can’t see a pattern as the snapshots before cloud sync and for periodic snapshots are showing for some folders and not others.

If I go to storage → snapshots I can see them all there so the are being created as expected but only some folders have them available to view in windows.

I have not lost anything I need back, I have just noticed the issue. Restoring from within TrueNAS for me is fine (not ideal but fine) but there are others accessing the system that just need to be able to restore from windows.

Apparently empty snapshots don’t show. Ie ones that are equivalent to an earlier snapshot.

Did you see this video already? Hopefully all the snapshots are showing up in the .zfs directory

Thanks, I tried the simpler advice from the linked thread but no change. Will have a look at the video when I get the chance and have a closer look at the thread to see if can make any headway.
