Subnet change breaks shares

Hello! I’m running ElectricEel-24.10.0.2 and it’s been rock solid. I recently swapped a opnsense router for a Unifi cloud gateway max. So my subnet went from 192.168.2.XXX to 192.168.0.XXX. Truenas is set to DHCP. I did update the DNS and default gateway. I’m able to connect to it through the web browser just fine, but the file shares are no longer accessible. Pulling up \192.168.0.xxx in the file explorer doesn’t connect. Went back to the original subnet with just my stock ATT router it worked again. What step am I missing? Very frustrating as the obvious didn’t work. My effort to keep it simple with Unifi is backfiring here. Appreciate any insight!

It sounds like you are manually setting DNS and Gateway instead of just letting DHCP assignment do the work. Have you powered everything off and then bring up the Unifi, wait a bit and then TrueNAS and Windows?

thanks! Yeah, I did reboot. When I get back to it, I’ll update and cycle the smb service. It’s just strange that rest of it worked as expected. Hence, the query if there was something less obvious being missed.
