i want set in disk, smart extra option like “-d megaraid,0”, but when i click save button, i got error for invalid parameter. Same for “-a”. Where i made mistake? Thx.
I use not recommended ald LSI card 9264-8i, i know, that is only RAID and not in IT mode and there is better cards…
But i have it, so why not play with it for no critical data.
The extra option is not functional. It was removed from 25.04 after I asked how to use this field.
And I do not know of a way to use extra parameters with SMART in the TrueNAS GUI.
Not sure if my scripts would help you out, take a look at Multi-Report. I may need to add megaraid,0 to the script but that is very simple for me to do, especially before my next release (coming very soon).
