TrueNAS-25.04.0 -> TrueNAS-25.04.2.1 - Incus VM impact?

Hi, I just want to see if anyone else has had problems before I upgrade.

When I went from 24.x.x.x to 25.04.0 I had to migrate my ‘Virtual Machine’ to Incus and it is pretty stable now.

I have read the ‘Instances’ are now ‘Containers’ so I am hoping my Windows 11 VM migrates without an issue.

What I want to know is what the VM roadmap is?

Should I try and recreate the Win11 VM (Instance) I have as a new Virtual Machine in 25.04.2.1 or should I stick with the migrated container one (as long as it migrates successfully).

The container instances (vms and lxcs) have to eventually be migrated to the libvirt based backend because icus will be completely removed in a future release ( maybe as early as 25.10 in October)

Autostart will be removed from Incus VMs starting with 25.10, but otherwise they do everything they currently do. Allegedly they will eventually provide a migration path out of Incus, but I found my own way back out.
