Can you create a separate thread with all the hardware details as well as info on VMs and PCIe device. There are tens of potential causes of crashes and it can often require a few eyes.

Incus VM Crashing

I have a problem with an Incus VM crashing. This VM started life on 24.10 as a sparse zvol and was migrated over to the 25.04 beta1 and now rc1. It is a network monitoring security appliance known as Security Onion. I pass thru a physical NIC to this VM that monitors mirrored traffic from my router uplink. I’ve had this VM rash twice now with an out of memory error and the VM is large (32GB), my system has 128GB of RAM. I don’t think the PCIe passthru is necessarily the cause. I’m seeing s…
