Unable to check for updates

When I try to check for updates I get this error message:

“Unable to connect to url https://update-master.ixsystems.com/TrueNAS/trains.txt: Automatic update check failed. Please check system network settings.”

The network setting may be incomplete but I’m not sure where to look.

Network → Global Configuration → Settings

Check DNS nameservers and Gateway is correct.

Fixed, thanks. The gateway is set to the router IP and so was the nameserver. I changed the nameserver to 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4.
