Unknown web interface IP address in TrueNAS console

After dealing with my Dead Ethernet connections I noticed in the console menu that it says:

The web user interface is at:

http://192.168.1.220
http://192.168.1.225
https://192.168.1.220
https://192.168.1.225

I understand the reflection between http and https, but I configured my new Ethernet card only for the 220 address. I have not explicitly configured 225 on any NIC in the system. There may be a VM running at that address, but it definitely doesn’t have the TrueNAS web interface on it.

I’ve been through all the network configurations that I can find (in both the console and web interface), but I can’t find a reference to 225. Where could this address be coming from?

That wouldn’t be it.

That .200/.225 thing, must be because you changed stuff. A leftover from static IP to DHCP maybe ? changing NICs and whatnot ?

I tracked it down to a jail that was running that I hadn’t yet changed from ix0 to the new NIC I inserted. But it still seems weird that the system console was indicating that the web console was available on that address.

Jail without VNET but with old school host networking? That would do exactly that, yes. And lead to problems because your host has got two interfaces in the same network, but that’s another story.
