Updating plex plugin issues

I set this server up a while back and ignored updating it for a long time. With the newest phone app update I can no longer access the server so its time.
The update cannot be done within the app and needs to be manually installed.
When I update it through the plugin sections this error comes up

" Error: Host: 13.1-RELEASE is not greater than target: 13.2-RELEASE This is unsupported."

When trying “iocage upgrade plexserver” the same error comes up in the shell
I am at a loss and dont want to re installed the server as there is loooots of metadata to go through

You may have waited too long. You can try updating all the way to Core 13.0U6.7 or 13.3U1.2 and seeing if you can get it to update. I don’t run any plugins or apps. I just recently moved from Core to Scale.

Read the documentation on upgrading from Core to Scale and see what it would take for you to update and, attempt, to keep all your data.

I am hoping you will get a few other replies. Please post as much detail about your current setup, any apps, VMs, Jails, pools, etc The better your details, the better the advise you will get from others that have moved.

I am in version 13.0-U6.7. Was hoping that was my issue but it is still giving me my same errors
My system is awfully basic but I have forgotten all the knowledge that it took to get the damn thing running sadly.
All I have is 2 pools. One for large data and photos storage and one pool for all my plex files.
As per jails all it is is the one for plex and no VMs running

You can try looking at the Document section for Core 13.3

Start looking into the Docs for the currently supported version of Scale and try to sort out what it would take to get set up by upgrade or a new install. You just change the version of TrueNAS you want to look at on the Docs. Choose TrueNAS for product and then the Version on the upper right side.

I think it’s relatively safe to update to 13.3, NOT enable ZFS updates re the pools and see if it works again. If not, you can roll back to 13.0.

I would basically plan to have enough time to rebuild plex if need be on scale if it comes to a transition. In particular, I would likely jump to the latest scale as there is little to gain from installing an older version of scale, then have your apps blown to bits as you upgrade from 23.whatever or 24.whatever to 25.4.

Unfortunately, I have zero experience setting up plex. I have been waiting with my apps for the day that I can assign a IP address for each app, as that makes life for my password manager easier.i

I just broke down and upgraded to scale 25.4 following the path they suggest.
Installed plex with its files being done through “Host Path” instead of ixVolume.
Everything is running now except I cant seem to locate my files under the data folder while setting up plex. I may just call it a night as these things seem to take long haha
