I think it’s worse than that. If I’m correct, it isn’t really monitoring the UPS. I should be seeing polling in my firewall logs instead of just one request at UPS service start (?)
For Slave, in order for the UPS reports to be populated you need to apply this hack - it survives OS reboots and even upgrades:

Indeed, /var/log/netdata/error.logwas full of those messages. The script workaround appears to be working in 25.10 as well and I now see (lots!) of traffic in my firewall logs. Maybe too much 
… several requests each second. But I’ll take a working monitor over a non-working one!
Really a shame that such a simple bug with severe impacts is getting put on the back burner for several major releases now. Please look into this one, TrueNAS team.
