Used FileBrowser to "move" files, after completion I can only see them in FileBrowser

Ok, I messed up.
I followed a guide how to install FileBrowser and I set User ID to root for easy access and to play around, yes yes Im stupid.
I got all up and running and once completed “Move” migration of a few folders between dataset Media → Data, Truenas dashboard indicated that Data was still empty.
I log in via SMB and folder is also empty. I go back to FileBrowser where i can see the files in Data folder…

Logging in as root and check via Shell, /mnt/volume_03/Data folder and it is still empty…

Any ideas to solve this? the files are there but how to retrieve them

Got exactly the same issue. Any help would be appreciated. I got backups so nothing is lost but I would like to understand how it is possible to not even see the files from the shell.

The first thing I would check is the bind mounts in the filebrowser setup and confirm that the file path you think you moved it to is actually the one you did move it to.

It seems like a dumb thing to check but it is a good place to start.

If you are unsure you can post the directory that you mapped in the setup and then the folder in filebrowser that you moved it to. You might want to change names of the pool or other folder structures for secrecy.
