Fein dachte ich, setzt du halt die Lebensdauer der bertroffenen Snapshots auf eine Stunde, dann kann ein Vollaufen des Pool gar nicht passieren. Aber Pustekuchen - die TN löscht die Snapshot nicht automatisch nach dieser einen Stunde (wann und ob überhaupt, weiß ich noch nicht)!
So, viel Text vornweg und dann nur eine kurze Frage → Weiß hier jemand vielleicht, warum TN sich so verhält und diese Snapshots unangetastet lässt? Und wie ich nun dieses Problem lösen kann? Für einen Hinweiß wäre ich dankbar.

Wenn du einen Snapshot im UI expandierst (Pfeil auf der rechten Seite in der Liste), dann siehst du das “retention timestamp”, also wann er gelöscht werden soll.
Könnte dein Problem an folgender Sache liegen? :
I recently started running v24.10.2 of TrueNAS Scale on bare metal (hardware spec in the sig) on a pool with a single raidz2 vdev.
When setting up my snapshot tasks I noticed a weird behavior (I’d go as far as calling it a “bug”): When I edit a snapshot task that already has some old snapshots and changed e.g. the “minutes” field and save the task, the old snapshots will no longer show “will be destroyed at … by periodic snapshot task”, but rather “Will not be destroyed automatically”.
