25.10 broke nvidia driver support for Quadro M2000

Since the update and now to .0.1 I get this:

Dec 3 13:48:38 TrueNAS kernel: nvidia-nvlink: Nvlink Core is being initialized, major device number 238
Dec 3 13:48:38 TrueNAS kernel: nvidia 0000:02:00.0: vgaarb: VGA decodes changed: olddecodes=io+mem, decodes=none:owns=none
Dec 3 13:48:38 TrueNAS kernel: NVRM: The NVIDIA GPU 0000:02:00.0 (PCI ID: 10de:1430)
NVRM: installed in this system is not supported by open
NVRM: nvidia.ko because it does not include the required GPU
NVRM: System Processor (GSP).
NVRM: Please see the 'Open Linux Kernel Modules' and 'GSP
NVRM: Firmware' sections in the driver README, available on
NVRM: the Linux graphics driver download page at
NVRM: www.nvidia.com.
Dec 3 13:48:38 TrueNAS kernel: NVRM: The NVIDIA probe routine failed for 1 device(s).
Dec 3 13:48:38 TrueNAS kernel: NVRM: None of the NVIDIA devices were initialized.

Looks like the M2000 is one of the cards that dropped out of support by the newer driver 25.10 uses.
At least it’s not included in the list of supported gpus

That’s unfortunate. Thank you for the quick response. Am I right to presume my 2 options are - newer GPU or stick with 24.x scale?

Or option 3:
Someone already made a workaround which loads the old nvidia driver.
