IT seems like 25.x ships with newer NVIDIA drivers (535/550+) that have dropped support for Pascal-generation GPUs like the Quadro P2000. and there are no options to install other drivers?
just got a refurbed precision 5820 with p2000s for my home nas looks like I have to go to 24.10.2 for localai/gpuand plex gpu transcoding or update the card?
any other recommendation - or any change older gpu will still be supported in newer 25 versions?
There’s no official way to install the older drivers, but a community member already created a workaround. 25.04 should also use the older nvidia driver so you don’t have to use 24.10 which is already a year old release.
