Hi Jerrya,

welcome to the forum. Can you give some more Details about your network setup? What is yourtruenas system running on, how is it connected to the internet, which devices (router in particular) are involved, what kind of internet connection do you have?

Exposing services on the internet comes with security risks. Please also elaborate your use case a bit further. Is it only one family member? Then, a vpn connection into your network would probably be reasonable.

Connected to my Local network through VPN. Would like to allow several immediate family members access.
Only running Immich now. Hope to add Home Assistant and Plex later.
Also interested in LLM. Thanks

I’d suggest Tailscale easy to setup user needs to have installed app that will connect to tour truenas and immich would work through that securely

I use Tailscale for exactly that. Works great.
