The TrueNAS company doesn’t make the software this forum runs on; it’s the same forum software I’ve seen on many other such sites. If there’s a bug, it’s probably best addressed to whoever maintains the forum software.
Discourse is highly configurable, with many available plugins with their own configuration options, and iX are apparently running their own copy on their own infrastructure. All of these point toward iX being the appropriate audience for reports of unexpected behavior, at least in the first instance. If the forum admins are having trouble making Discourse behave as expected, they’d be the best parties to engage with whatever Discourse support channels are desired (and even their own forum, in my experience, has been highly responsive).
