Can't add a new LXC Container Pool: System is not licensed to run virtualization

Hey all.

I have a TrueNAS R20B I bought from iX 4 years ago. I want to use the LXC Container feature. Today I tried to create a new pool on the Containers page, and I got the error:

Error: pool
System is not licensed to run virtualization

I’m Community Edition, and don’t have an enterprise license, but I know for sure this works for whitebox and TrueNAS MINI customers. Furthermore, virtualization has always worked for me until now (with VMs, Docker, Kubernetes, etc).

Is this right? Is this known?

Did you recently upgrade or did the enterprise license just run out? Posting your TrueNAS version info might help. You might wait until you hear from someone from TrueNAS Enterprise as most of us are not familiar with Enterprise vs Community Edition and how to check if something is stuck due to having Enterprise version at one time.

Yeah, I feel sure I only ever had Community Edition. if I ever had an Enterprise License approving virtualization, I didn’t realize that.
