Can't fresh install anything higher that 24.2.10.4 on ZimaCube Pro

I am installing truenas on my ZimaCube Pro, havent done this in a while, its my test machine, but it used to work. I had no issues installed hexos earlier today. Thought this was interesting when i went straight ot a 25.10 nightly

then i tried 25.10-beta 1, same issue
then i tried 25.04.2.3, same issue
then i tried 24.2.10.4 and while i see the first two ACPI errors the initramfs unpacks just fine and install completes

Other important information:

I am doing this via a NanoKVM Pro which has some interesting bootable medai emulation

i tried disabling vt-d like the folks in the terramaster thread are doing, no difference.

i will now do a build to build upgrade and see how that goes, so this is more an FYI and ??? from me at this point

edit: i did a build to build upgrade within truenas just fine, this issue seems to be an installer issue maybe related to the KVM or underlying hardware. i will try and replicate with an actual USB key when i have time, the ACPI error seems to be noise rather than an actual issue

any ideas on the root cause?

How exactly did you create the boot/installation media?

Download ISO, then mounted with KVM.

Which specific KVM?
That’s an added variable, right?

Try the most basic first:
Create a USB installation media and try that.

The iso is a dual mbr/uefi boot and many kvm and usb boot solutions do not handle it well.
