Checksum failed on install truenas CORE

Guys,
i have a dell optiplex 7060
and no matter what i do, install from flash drive
install from HDD usb drive
deactivate multicore in bios and set to a single core
i always get invalic checksum message and the installation halt.

is the cpu or motherboard not compatible with truenas CORE
and to simplify things, is there a list of motherboard chipset / cpu combonations you can use ?

i do not mind to get a second hand machine repurposed as a trueNAS box
my SOHO is small, 2 users only, but want to have a centralized file storage

As far as I can tell from a quick web search, the machine should be compatible. A few things to try. 1 - see if SCALE will install, 2 - ensure BIOS setting are as basic as possible, 3 - redownload the iso.

Good luch,
John

What application are you using to make the USB flash install drive? Is your error the same as this?

solved,
my files somehow were corrupted
i re DL again and problem solved
works like a charm !
thanks!
