Crush FTP - keep using TruNAS 13.0 or else?

As you can see, I’m still on TruNAS 13 (Free BSD, Core, not Scale). Can I please ask questions about jails here in this forum? I run an extremely high quality FTP server called “Crush FTP” in a jail. Crush needs to be upgraded from its version 10 to version 11. I really think I need to stay on the Free BSD version of TruNAS and continue to use Crush in a Jail because I do not see any support for Crush FTP as an app in the new TruNAS 24.04.

I just have a few questions about the best way to upgrade this app, which I installed manually in the jail. CrushFTP 11 has all the instructions for upgrade, and I definitely know how to copy its application folder next to the Crush FTP 10 folder in /mnt/d10_4_8_21/iocage/jails/CrushFTP/root/var/opt

But after I get this configured, can anyone tell me how I can switch the jail over to run Crush FTP 11 instead of 10? And ensure through the Jail GUI that it launches the correct version of Crush. Many thanks in advance!

Don’t know about jails, and as far as i’ve seen, even the jails you can run on 13.3 will become EOL this week or month (don’t know exactly).
Even if crush ftp is not available as a truenas app you can still deploy it as a custom container.
There’s even a compose file available on dockerhub

You probably should look to a newer version of Scale than 24.04, unless that was a typo and should have been 25.04.
