DNS Failing 30 Minutes After a Reboot

I recently discovered an issue with my TrueNAS CE (25.04.1) instance where DNS seems to stop resolving properly about half an hour after I reboot my nice. I can use ping and dig from the TrueNAS shell to reach common IPs and URL. I can even reach my VPS.
But after about half an hour or so, DNS stops resolving and both ping and dig fail. App container logs start to output DNS-related errors as well.

I have double-checked my nameservers under Global Configuration and they seem to be correct. So, I’m not sure what else I can do. I’d appreciate any suggestions. I’m also happy to provide any logs too.

Your entire network setup might help. It sounds like you have a networking conflict going on.

Ultimately, I figured out I needed to a config reset. Thankfully since TrueNAS can pick you storage pool and apps right back up, the reset process was easy. DNS is now working as expected.
