I’ve run into an issue after updating two servers to TrueNAS 25.10.1.
Both servers are using SMB shares with the “FCP Share” preset. Since the update, Final Cut Pro can no longer create project snapshots on these shares.
As a workaround, I currently have to use FCP’s “Duplicate Project” feature instead, which works but is not ideal and changes our normal workflow.
This behavior did not affect us previously, so it seems related to the recent update or the SMB/FCP preset changes in 25.10.1.
If this is a known issue and not too complex to address, I’d really appreciate it being fixed in a future update.
