just received my mini + and installed hard drives and fired it up. I can get to the local login page but both root and admin,. abcd1234 don’t work what am i doing wrong.
Is this on TrueNAS Scale or TrueNAS Core? Try ‘truenas_admin’?

tried root abcd1234 and admin abcd1234
and neither of them, work
Try ‘truenas_admin’ or look for a sticker on the computer with the info. I don’t know if iX Systems has random or unique passwords assigned or requires changing on first login
Okay, but did you do as @SmallBarky suggested, and try truenas_admin too?
If TrueNAS came preinstalled, didn’t it come with a note as to what the username and password is?
No I didn’t find a note thee documentation say there a sticker on the rear but that doesn’t work either
I finally got into the system using the login truenas_admin thank you to the person that posted the info. no where i the documentation does it state this but it worked and I’m i n now to learn to configure this beast i’ll be all right
