I installed Plex 1.43.0.10467. When I go to media to install my stuff it is not there. I set up the claim code and set my host path for my media, but in the UI nothing shows. I have no clue why. I tried to set a Plex user and/or group 568 and I get 568 an error. I try to apply 568 in permissions for my data folder and get error: user does not exist. Anybody have an idea?
Screenshots of your settings for Plex and maybe the errors would help. I expect other users to post that have Plex experience.
I created a dataset with apps permissions, with sub folders for Logs, Config, and transcode. Then in system configuration in plex I set all folders to Host Path on the system Data points to Video/Media. Logs points to Video/Plex/Logs. Config Points to Video/Plex/Config. And Transcode points to Video/Plex/Transcode I did not check enable Permissions on any.I also set my timezone and copied in my Plex claim code.When I go to the web UI the server is there, but no files are found.
