Trouble migrating a non docker Plex config to TrueNAS (Using the Plex app)

Hi

I’m trying to migrate my Plex server away from a dedicated box and instead run it using the Plex docker app in TrueNAS 24.10.0.2. My issue right now appears to be permissions related, but it may be something else. In case it is I have also asked for help in the Plex forum Vanilla server in TrueNAS ok. Loading my configuration causes a crash.

This is what I’m seeing in the PMS log:
60393f67b1260d0cdc3e6bcb88bb6a8250f06951_2_690x186

While I do not have a TV tuner card, nor have I ever had one, I also see this in the PTS log:
PTS_log

Currently the shares in question have been set up like this:

I made sure to reapply these permissions to all child members of the configuration dataset after installing my old config files by overwriting the ACL of all child datasets and their subfolders through the GUI. This certainly did something as it is clearly my server trying to start and not the vanilla server I briefly started to see that everything was working.

In the configuration for the plex app i have set user and group id to be 568. I have set up ACL for my mounted folders as follows (here just showing the config directory, but they are all the same except for the media directory where the user only has read access):

So I discovered something. The local access was not working but my server did briefly come up in plex.tv listed with indirect access. I had used a custom external port and tried to reset that to the factory default to see if that helped, but now my indirect access is gone :frowning:
