I want to migrate apps, but especially in the case of immich, there is a lot of photo data, so it must be possible to migrate to upgrade. Can you help me?
Make sure you have a good backup of the data somewhere. I think you would delete each app and setup it up again from scratch after updating Truenas. You should not lose any data if you used host paths for the app configs and data, etc. But you should also note each box in the current config as you have them setup, take screen shots or with a phone, to be able to re-add them exactly as they were.
If you didn’t use host paths for the app configs and data, then post that here in the thread and I wouldn’t upgrade or otherwise mess with the system as I think there are some other things that may be necessary. I don’t really know as I did my updates before the deadline, but someone else will likely know and post what to do,
